Yes, the minimum entry requirement for Somatology is a National Senior Certificate (NSC) or NQF Level 4 equivalent with a Diploma pass.
Our Diploma in Somatology is a comprehensive and advanced program designed to prepare individuals for a successful career in the spa industry.
Prospective students should be aware that this is not a simple course but rather an intensive program that requires a strong academic foundation. We recommend that applicants commit to rigorous study and practice. This ensures that students can fully benefit from the curriculum, which covers a wide range of subjects such as Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology and Advanced Clinical Treatments.
Life Sciences is an important subject to take in Grade 12. Should you not have Life Sciences as a subject, we offer Bridging lessons.

The Diploma in Somatology is a two - to three-year full-time course.
You will be required to complete practical work, theory exams, and clinical hours.

Yes we offer various payment plans, and further information on how you can fund your studies can be found under 'Funding'. We are a private education institution and therefore cannot accept NSFAS funding.
If your payment method is a sponsor/parent, please discuss this with them before applying.
Students have the opportunity to work at a Camelot Spa, you will undergo an interview process.
We do not provide on-site accommodation, a student advisor can assist you with accommodation options nearby.
